This role is responsible for maximising the value of new and existing member relationships, through the promotion of HIA’s products and services across all regions. Key responsibilities: Drive membership growth Deliver on membership recruitment and first-year retention targets Proactively identify and convert new membership opportunities across all regions Build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline through lead generation, research and follow-up Apply solution-based selling techniques to clearly demonstrate the value of HIA membership Manage and convert leads Actively pursue new business through a mix of canvassing, networking, cold outreach and market intelligence Effectively manage and convert both self-generated and centrally allocated leads Maintain momentum across the sales cycle to achieve consistent conversion outcomes Strengthen member engagement and retention Support first-year member engagement activities to drive retention and member satisfaction Build strong relationships that reinforce the long-term value of HIA membership Contribute to sales strategy Support the delivery of HIA’s national and regional sales plans Actively contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives that support membership growth Promote HIA’s presence Increase the visibility of HIA through participation in events, trade shows and industry seminars Represent HIA professionally, strengthening awareness of membership and services Maintain accurate systems and records Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping across account management, prospecting and lead generation Use CRM systems and tools effectively to track activity and maintain data integrity Collaborate and contribute as part of the team Work closely with the national sales team and regional colleagues Share insights, contribute ideas and support team outcomes
