Stuart Park Child Care Centre – Casual Assistant Educator position We are a community based not-for-profit Long Day Care Centre that has been a part of the Stuart Park community for more than 30 years. We looking for a passionate and motivated educators to join our team. Essential Criteria Applicant must have Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care OCHRE card (WWC check) Child Protection Qualification Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate Availability to work between 7:15am and 5:45pm Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proactive in implementing a play-based curriculum A bright, friendly and enthusiastic attitude Dedicated to developing the future of our children An understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) About your day: Ensure that a developmentally & educationally appropriate play-based program is planned & implemented for each child Maintain effective communication with the parents of each child Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members Maintain and manage the resources for your room Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times What’s on offer: First aid/ CPR training Professional development training Superannuation Uniforms Please ensure your resume outlines relevant work history and includes two (2) current referees.
