About the Role The Ministry Assistant (Children & Youth) plays an important role in helping young people and families connect with faith, community and support through the life of the Alice Springs Corps. Working closely with the Corps Officers, you’ll help develop and grow children’s and youth ministries that are welcoming, engaging and aligned with the mission and values of The Salvation Army. This role is hands-on, creative and deeply relational. You’ll help shape programs, lead activities, support volunteers, and create opportunities for children and young people to explore faith in ways that are meaningful and age-appropriate. You’ll also contribute to Sunday worship and build strong connections with local schools, churches and community organisations.
