The Inglewood Hotel is an award-winning venue. We are currently seeking a vibrant & enthusiastic full-time Bar Manager to join our friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic customer-focused individual wishing to further their career within the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills & show initiative. We are known as 'your friendly local' so the ideal candidate will possess strong communication & interpersonal skills, enabling them to liaise with customers & staff. To be successful you must have: Approved Manager Certification (WA). Exceptional cash handling skills, including the ability to reconcile cash/EFTPOS terminals with accuracy. The ability to manage a shift in a fast-paced environment and maintain staff motivation & initiative levels during non-service periods. An outgoing and friendly personality. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Outstanding customer service skills. Demonstrated knowledge of wine (local & imported). The ability to demonstrate skills & knowledge, & train staff in Bar Tending Skills (Tap Beer, Service, Cocktail Making). Excellent attention to detail. The ability to develop & maintain relationships with our regular friendly locals. Immaculate presentation & reliability. Flexibility to work days, evenings & weekends. Desirable skills include: Experience working within a sporting venue. Basic understanding of TV/AV systems. Experience using H&L. Sound coffee knowledge & basic barista skills.
