Coordinate Events, Functions and Charters as part of our Sales & Marketing Team About the role We are looking for a professional Events Coordinator to join our team to coordinate charters and functions on board our river vessels with Captain Cook Cruises, and waterfront function venue Bells Functions, across the corporate, school, agent, and private events markets, From the first enquiry, you will liaise with the client and the operations team to ensure a well-planned and enjoyable event for our guests. Key Responsibilities include Converting enquiries into confirmed functions and charters across our vessels and Bells Functions Management of the client journey with us from confirmation of the event through to post event delivery. Work closely with the chef and operations team on planning and the guest experience Creating event orders and ensure payment schedules are met Meet and greet prospective clients for viewings of the vessels/venue Oversee key functions and events, particularly during peak periods including weekends as needed to ensure client satisfaction Anticipating and possessing a proactive approach to our customer needs Representation at industry or networking events where deemed relevant. About You: Be passionate about hospitality, tourism and events. Be a team player and have a 'can do' positive attitude Be able to multitask with great time management skills Have great communication skills Be adaptive and flexible on schedule to meet business requirements Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and excel.
