SWAN VALLEY DRINKS PTY LTD (T/A Valencia Bar & Grill) Location: Caversham WA 6055 Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum Hours: 38 hours per week Swan Valley Drinks Pty Ltd trading as Valencia Bar and Grill once known as Valencia Vineyards, a lively bar, fine dining, function centre and fully equipped kitchen-were kitchen chef grills up favourite cuisines with flair, served in a warm space for fine dining experience. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present authentic dishes with consistency and high quality. Plan, develop, and update menus, balancing traditional flavours with innovative dishes. Supervise, mentor, and train junior kitchen staff. Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships. Maintain compliance with workplace health and food safety standards. Contribute to smooth kitchen operations, including rostering and workflow management. Skills and Experience Required: Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate IV or higher) or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 1 or 2 years’ full-time experience as a Chef, preferably specialising in continental cuisine. Strong knowledge of herbs & spices, cooking methods, and authentic menu preparation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. What We Offer: Full-time position working 38 hours per week. Competitive salary of $75,000 – $85,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
