About the Team The Marketing and Communication Unit (MCU) takes the lead in developing and delivering strategies that build the UTS brand and amplify the university's voice in the world. It is responsible for effectively promoting and enhancing the image and reputation of the university through the development and implementation of marketing plans, media and public relations activities, internal communication and corporate identity strategy. MCU has both internal and external clients and delivers services to support them and to promote the overall strategic development of the university. About the Role We are looking for a?strategic and creative communications lead to shape how?we?connect?with?our?staff and enhance their experience of working at UTS. Based in the Strategic Communications team and reporting?to the?Internal?Communications?Manager,?the?Staff Communication?Lead is?responsible for?planning, development and?delivery?of?communications?that inform, engage,?connect?and?inspire?our?staff community. You will be?a?valued?strategic partner?to internal?stakeholders, working?on a broad range of initiatives?aligned to the UTS 2030 strategy.?With the support of the Internal Communications Manager, you?will?design?and deliver?high-quality?communications?across a variety of internal channels, including the staff intranet, ensuring?these?communications are?timely,?relevant?and effective.??You will help tell the stories of the university's impact, increasing staff advocacy for the university in the broader community. If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for: Developing and delivering communications across a range of channels and platforms Contributing to strategic planning of communications and engagement activities including major staff campaigns Managing key staff communication channels, with a focus on consistency, quality and clarity of communication Providing strategic communications advice and support to internal stakeholders and building communications capabilities in the wider organisation Evaluating campaign and channel performance with a focus on continuous improvement With examples, please outline within your Cover Letter, how you meet the following key selection criteria: Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering effective multi-channel communication strategies, and measuring their success. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adapt format, tone and formality for different audiences and platforms. Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within complex environments. Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range:?$122,640 - $139,674 pa (HEW 8) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension)?in addition?to the base salary.
