This business operates advanced mining and steel manufacturing assets, delivering high-quality steel products used across rail, construction, and other key industries. About the Role: Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, you will ensure that planned maintenance and repairs that support the asset maintenance strategy and long-term asset plans are executed. The role also focuses on continuous improvement to reduce costs and enable reinvestment into justified brownfield growth, ensuring the ongoing sustainability of assets and plant operations. Responsibilities: Lead the maintenance and operational team as required in the day-to-day performance of electrical related equipment Coordinate planning for both shutdown and maintenance tasks and ensure work is aligned with plant requirements Troubleshoot daily plant and equipment issues through application of trades skills and fault-finding techniques Support Maintenance Leadership in developing annual budget (R&M, Capital, and major repairs) that supports the maintenance strategy Ensure all maintenance and repair activities are safely managed and completed on time and within the approved budget About You: Electrical trade or Electrical tertiary qualifications Demonstrated experience and understanding of maintenance and planning, supervision and maintenance leadership Background in vary industry, mining, processing or heavy industry environment Experience in front line leadership or supervisory role SAP experience highly regarded Benefits Contribute to projects that build Australia’s infrastructure and advance sustainable practices.
