Marketing Lead – Shapemakers (Sydney/Central Coast) We’re building something new. Shapemakers is a newly formed Borg business, bringing together a range of capabilities across aluminium and plastic extrusion, along with a specialist coatings offer through our recent acquisition of Sapphire. Individually, these are strong businesses. Together, they create a more complete offer for our customers. We manufacture high-quality components used across a wide range of industrial and commercial applications—and now we’re looking for a Marketing Lead to help take that combined and growing capability to market, as a curated and comprehensive offer from Shapemakers. This is a hands-on role. You won’t be sitting back writing strategy decks—you’ll be in the detail, working with the businesses, understanding products, capabilities and customers, and turning that into clear, practical marketing that supports growth. What you’ll be doing Build and execute the marketing plan for Shapemakers. Help define how we bring our combined (and evolving) capabilities to market in a clear and compelling way. Create sales tools that actually get used—product collateral, case studies, samples, digital assets and content. Work closely with the sales teams to understand real applications and opportunities for each channel to market. Support new product and capability launches across extrusion and coatings. Lift the quality and consistency of how we present to market across all touchpoints. Work closely with our internal agency, Layrd. What we’re looking for Hands-on marketer who likes building, not just managing. Experience in industrial, manufacturing or B2B environments. Ability to simplify technical products and multiple capabilities into clear messaging. Commercial mindset—focused on outcomes, not just activity. Someone who enjoys working closely with sales and the broader business. Why join us Opportunity to play an integral role from the ground-up. Play a key role in bringing multiple and expanding capabilities into one clear market offer Backed by the Borg Group—a large, privately owned Australian manufacturing business with a strong growth trajectory Real scope to shape how a new business evolves and goes to market.
