In this role you will design, co-ordinate, facilitate and evaluate vocational training programs and related activities to meet the needs of the female population within the correctional facility, thereby contributing to increased levels of community safety and reduced recidivism. The following mandatory requirements apply to this role: It is an operational requirement that the candidate hold at least a SHB20216 Certificate II in Salon Assistant or verifiable vocational competence and current industry experience It is an operational requirement that the candidate the person must hold one of the following credentials: TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessmentor its successor, TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment A diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training A secondary teaching qualification andone of the following credential TAESS00011 Assessor Skill Set ( or obtain within 3 months of commencement), or TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Setor its successor (or obtain within 3 months of commencement), or TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor (or obtain within 3 months of commencement) As this position will require travel and work across various locations possession of a driver's licence, minimum C class Australian licence is a mandatory requirement. Other conditions and requirements There may be instances where the incumbent will be required to work hours outside the normal work hours, undertake travel to other locations, or temporarily work from an alternate location.
