An exciting permanent/full-time opportunity has become available in our Waste and Infrastructure Maintenance team for an experienced Coordinator Waste and Infrastructure Maintenance. In this role, the successful applicant will manage the planning and supervision of the City’s infrastructure civil maintenance contracts, programs and reactive works. Coordinate the programming, implementation and supervision of the City's multiple waste, recycling and cleaning services. The key responsibilities of this role are to: Provide leadership, direction, guidance and support to the Waste and Infrastructure Maintenance branch. Coordinate the operation of high performing waste, recycling, maintenance and sweeping teams. Coordinate a high-performing infrastructure maintenance team to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable civil maintenance works. Establish infrastructure maintenance work plans, monitor work requests and orders to ensure appropriate and timely completion adhering to the City’s SLA Conduct performance appraisals for Waste and Infrastructure team members Regularly report to the manager on branch performance, and discuss strategies, operational issues, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure contractual details are clearly communicated to all necessary parties and that all start-up processes are completed in a timely manner Ensure work safety audits are conducted for all work teams Coordinate the scheduling and facilitation of toolbox and team leader meetings Management of the City’s electrical, drainage, graffiti removal and cleaning contracts including WHS & service delivery audits Essential criteria: Supervisory ability that includes people and budget management and a high level of organisational ability in planning, prioritising and achieving outcomes to deadlines Highly developed and proven interpersonal, communication and influencing skills Demonstrated ability to establish, develop and maintain new systems, strategies and procedures Excellent written communication skills Experience in coordinating industry leading waste, recycling and cleaning services Experience in coordinating scheduled and reactive infrastructure maintenance works programs. Well-developed ability to use corporate computer systems Relevant tertiary level qualification and/or relevant work experience Drivers Licence Salary package In line with the City of Subiaco Inside Staff Industrial Agreement 2025, this position is classified as a Level 8. The salary range is $122,200.00 to $130,520.00 per annum pro rata, exclusive of superannuation. This position also includes Restricted Private Vehicle Use.
