We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Receptionist to join our team in a part-time, ongoing role , commencing as soon as possible. This role will be 15 hours per week for 40 weeks per year, equivalent to 0.3464 FTE. The successful candidate will provide warm and professional front-office support to students, parents, staff, and visitors while managing reception, communication, and administrative tasks. This is not just a role; it’s a sacred opportunity to help enable the nurturing of young hearts and minds through crucial support of the everyday life of the school. Key Responsibilities Include: Provide warm and professional support to students, staff, parents, and visitors. Manage phone and parent communications, including relaying student messages and directing enquiries to appropriate staff. Maintain accurate student records and assist with both hardcopy and digital filing and administration processes. Coordinate administrative tasks including excursions, incursions, reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and general office support. Work collaboratively within the administration team and meet deadlines efficiently. Communicate effectively and professionally while maintaining confidentiality, following College policies Selection Criteria: Essential : Demonstrate a committed Christian faith by actively supporting the College’s Christian life and aligning with the Association’s Statement of Faith, Christian Lifestyle Statement, and educational objectives. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, staff, and other professionals. A commitment to pastoral care, with an understanding of social issues that impact young children. Ability to act with discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times. Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check, Department of Education Criminal History Clearance, and First Aid qualifications.
