Introduction SFI Australia (part of the ATOM group) supports major industrial and mining operations across Australia. We work in high pressure environments where reliability, accuracy, and teamwork matter. On site, we supply tools, equipment, and consumables to large workforces, helping keep operations running. This role is a Roy Hill based FIFO position working a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster (dayshift). It is suited to experienced Storepersons who are comfortable working in remote, physically demanding, and high temperature environments. This opportunity is being advertised internally across the ATOM Group. Description This is a site based Storeperson role at Roy Hill, supporting daily operations in a mine site warehouse environment. You will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of inventory, ensuring critical materials are available to frontline crews when they need them. This role operates on a 2/2 FIFO roster, 12-hour day shifts, and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in demanding site conditions. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and verify inbound goods against documentation Accurately process inventory transactions in system Pick, pack, and issue materials to site personnel Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and stocktakes Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies Prepare and stage outbound deliveries across site Provide responsive and practical support to site personnel Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant warehouse Operate forklifts and materials handling equipment safely Safety and Compliance Follow site safety procedures and compliance requirements at all times Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and incident reporting Maintain housekeeping and hazard free work areas Skills And Experiences Desired Skills & Experience This role is best suited to experienced Storepersons who have previously worked in mining or heavy industrial environments. Core Requirements Proven Storeperson experience in a warehouse or industrial environment Experience operating forklifts safely in a busy warehouse or site setting Strong understanding of inventory control processes, including receipting, issuing, and stock accuracy Ability to work safely in a high risk environment and follow site procedures Physically capable of manual handling and working 12-hour shifts Highly Regarded (and will make you stand out quickly) Previous FIFO experience on mine sites, particularly in remote or high temperature conditions Experience working in mining or heavy industrial environments Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support frontline crews Other Requirements Current Forklift Licence (LF) Current Driver’s Licence Ability to pass site medical and Drug & Alcohol testing Willingness to work a consistent 2/2 FIFO roster and live on site camp
