Overview An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated law graduate or junior lawyer to join our busy Personal Injury team based in Varsity Lakes, Gold Coast. The ideal candidate will be a law graduate with pre admission experience in personal injury or as a newly admitted lawyer. You will assist across a broad range of plaintiff personal injury matters while developing your legal expertise in a supportive environment, working under the supervision of an experienced Partner and senior practitioners. About the Role Whilst the role will be to largely work on a workers’ compensation claims, you will work on a variety of other personal injury claims, including: Public liability; Motor vehicle claims; Total and Permanent Disability (TPD), superannuation; Income Protection; and Dust Diseases. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the management of personal injury files under direct supervision of a partner; Conducting legal research and drafting correspondence and documents; Liaising with clients, colleagues, and third parties; Managing time recording and administrative requirements; and Supporting business development and networking initiatives alongside the Partner. About You Law graduate or newly admitted lawyer with experience in this field; Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Sound legal research ability; Confident interpersonal skills and client focused approach; Self motivated and able to work effectively in a high-volume environment; Demonstrated empathy and commitment to achieving positive client outcomes; Strong academic record; and Current QLD Practising Certificate (for admitted candidates).
