About the Role We are seeking a highly capable IT Software Team Lead (2IC) to support the delivery and leadership of our ERP, CRM, and enterprise reporting environment. This role sits directly under the IT Manager and is responsible for leading the development team, ensuring high-quality delivery across business-critical systems, and driving data-led decision making through tools such as CRM platforms and Tableau-based reporting. The business is a national manufacturing group with facilities, offices, and warehouses in all major states. This role is based on the Gold Coast but will work closely with members in other states. You will play a key role in both hands-on technical delivery and team leadership, ensuring systems are stable, scalable, and aligned to business growth objectives milestone as directed by the IT manager . Key Responsibilities Act as deputy to the IT Manager across all software and data delivery functions Ozroll and Acryloc Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers and analysts Oversee delivery of ERP, CRM, and integrated business applications Support design and governance of system architecture, data models, and reporting frameworks Drive adoption of Tableau / BI reporting and CRM analytics across the business Ensure code quality, security standards, and development best practices are maintained Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Manage prioritisation, sprint delivery, and workload allocation within the team Act as escalation point for complex technical and system issues Support continuous improvement across SDLC, DevOps, and deployment processes Step into IT Manager responsibilities when required Skills & Experience 5 years’ experience in software development with demonstrated leadership or senior team lead experience Strong understanding of ERP, CRM systems, and enterprise application environments Experience delivering or supporting data and reporting solutions (e.g. Tableau or equivalent BI tools) Strong capability in C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, APIs, and system integrations Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership and delivery ownership Desirable Experience Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP platforms Experience in digital transformation or enterprise systems integration programs Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure Experience supporting CRM-driven sales or service environments Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field What This Role Is Really About This is not just a development role — it is a delivery leadership position inside an ERP and CRM transformation program, responsible for ensuring systems, data, and reporting are commercially usable, not just technically functional.
