This role will suit someone who takes pride in precision machining, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a high-performing workshop environment. Shift Details Afternoon Shift Monday - Thursday: 3:00PM - 11:00PM Friday: 12:00PM - 6:00PM 38-hour week Please note: The workshop will relocate to East Rockingham within 12 months, so candidates based in Perth's south eastern corridor are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Select tooling, set offsets, prove out jobs, and run production efficiently Complete quality checks and final inspections using precision measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, finish, offsets, and accuracy Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean, safe work environment Work alongside production and engineering teams to improve efficiency and quality Complete job records and production documentation accurately Requirements Minimum 2 years' experience as a CNC Machinist Experience with CNC turning and/or milling Strong ability to read drawings and use micrometers, verniers, and gauges High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Reliable, proactive, and solution-focused attitude Highly Regarded Experience operating Okuma 4000 lathes Exposure to MAZAK mills and lathes How to apply: Please click apply or send your resume through to zenithsearch.com To find out more on these opportunities please call Ollie on 0483954 for a confidential chat.
