Meal Delivery volunteers are the friendly face of Meals on Wheels Central Coast. Each shift, volunteers collect pre-packed Meal Eskies (insulated cooler boxes) of frozen or fresh meals from their outlet and deliver them to clients on their assigned route. Key responsibilities: - Collect and deliver meals to clients on an assigned route - Conduct a brief welfare check at each door and report any concerns to the Client Services Officer - Handle Meal Eskies safely (4-12kg) - Complete the run log sheet at the end of each shift - Report incidents, hazards, or client concerns immediately - Wear MOWCC t-shirt and high-vis vest at all times Ideal for someone who enjoys driving, values community connection, and wants a meaningful morning commitment.
