You will be trusted to: Maintain and assist in the ongoing development of Georgiou's HSE systems Ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business Provide a consultative solutions-based approach to your work Inspire an industry leading safety culture through the delivery of Georgiou's 'Safety is My Way' Continue to develop a personalised brand of safety within our team Build effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders Harness technology to facilitate improved performance in HSE Your skills and experience: Experience working in complex operational environments, ideally on Water Corporation or similar infrastructure projects where safety, production, and changing site conditions must be balanced Ability to engage with workers and supervisors to understand how work is actually performed in the field Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to build trust across crews, subcontractors, and clients Ability to facilitate open discussions around risk, operational pressures, and everyday work challenges without creating blame Experience supporting learning-focused investigations that seek to understand why decisions made sense at the time Practical understanding of how workers adapt to changing conditions to complete work safely and efficiently Ability to work collaboratively with site teams to develop practical and achievable risk controls Comfortable working with uncertainty, conflicting priorities, and dynamic operational environments Demonstrated ability to influence positive safety outcomes through relationships, learning, and engagement rather than enforcement alone Sound computer skills with the ability to manage reporting requirements, maintain accurate records, and prepare clear HSE documentation Skilled in facilitating risk reviews and workshops with work crews, supervisors, and subcontractors to identify practical controls and support safe delivery of works Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety required, with experience in high-risk work environments and confined spaces advantageous If you share our values, are driven by teamwork and innovation, and are looking to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you.
