The Opportunity Based in the firm’s brand-new Brisbane CBD office, you’ll be involved in a diverse and sophisticated mix of civil litigation and health law matters, including: Regulatory and disciplinary investigations and hearings (AHPRA, OHO, Coroner) Medical indemnity disputes Professional college and training investigations Private hospital credentialing and accreditation matters Statutory investigations, clinical reviews, and Commissions of Inquiry QCAT and other regulatory proceedings A key point of difference is that this team operates outside of the firm’s insurance practice, offering a more specialised and focused pathway for those looking to build a long-term career in health law. You’ll advise a broad client base including leading medical defence organisations, doctors and allied health professionals, private hospitals, and commercial health insurers.
