The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Child Care Director / Nominated Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established, fully occupied centre with an excellent reputation in the community. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a true all-rounder who can confidently manage centre operations, team leadership, compliance, family relationships, and quality outcomes. You will be supported by: A full-time Administration Manager handling enrolments and policies A dedicated full-time 2IC supporting daily operations Mentoring and guidance from the Approved Provider Collaboration and support from two additional established centres Salary & Benefits Annual salary package from $120,000 15% Superannuation Work with a highly respected Exceeding-rated centre Immediate start available Retention bonuses at key milestones Maintain Exceeding Rating Bonus – $10,000 after Assessment & Rating Annual occupancy bonus up to $20,000 (centre currently operating at 100% occupancy) Professional development and career progression opportunities Supportive management and leadership team Relocation & Lifestyle Support For interstate or Sydney-based applicants considering relocation: Relocation bonus to assist with moving costs Bond or rental assistance available Travel/fuel assistance for relocation period Flexible start date to allow time to secure accommodation Community integration support and local recommendations Childcare/school support guidance for relocating families Additional Benefits Coverage for mandatory renewals and certifications including: First Aid, CPR and WWCC Ongoing leadership mentoring and Funding for continued professional development Strong career progression opportunities within a growing organisation About the Role As the Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre Lead and mentor educators to maintain high-quality practices Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and National Law Maintain and uphold Exceeding NQS standards Build strong relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community Drive a positive, collaborative team culture Manage staffing, rostering, and centre performance Support curriculum implementation aligned with the EYLF Ensure compliance with child protection, health, and safety requirements Maintain occupancy and high family engagement standards Be a visible, approachable, and people-focused leader Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, applicants must have: Applicants must have: Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (no visa sponsorship available) Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum) 5 years’ experience as a Nominated Supervisor / Director Experience leading an Exceeding-rated service Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Education & Care Regulations Proven leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Current NSW Working With Children Check Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection training Willingness to complete a National Police Check Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle We are looking for a genuine people person, someone who leads from the front, supports their team, builds strong family relationships, and confidently manages all aspects of centre operations.
