Join our multidisciplinary mental health team in Ipswich! While driving high-quality, person-centred care across Open Minds’ Medicare Mental Health Services, our centres offer assessment, triage, warm referrals, immediate and short-medium term support for people with varying levels of need, including those in crisis. We’re looking for a Program Lead to build and maintain strategic partnerships across community organisations, service providers, and key stakeholders to strengthen mental health service integration. The role is a 12-month contract, focusing on leading community development, co-design initiatives, and collaborative projects to address local needs, reduce service gaps, and promote culturally safe, inclusive practices. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across health services, community organisations, and government, leading co-design initiatives with people with lived experience. Establish and coordinate consortia, advisory groups, and governance forums, including contract oversight, to support effective service implementation and evaluation. Design and deliver community development strategies that promote mental health awareness, ensure culturally safe engagement, and strengthen community resilience. Lead end-to-end projects, including planning, delivery, evaluation, and quality improvement, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance requirements. Represent the organisation in external forums, prepare high-quality communications, and advocate for integrated, equitable access to mental health services.
