You will provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, medication and social support as well as some office-based responsibilities.There will be times when you’ll contribute to planning and coordination from our office. As a senior team member, you will also be available for on-call support as the need arises, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care when they need it most.As a Senior Home Care Worker, you will:Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in their homesAssist with medications and personal caresAssist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment.Participate in the review of client care plans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurateTrain and mentor Home Care Workers, including completing annual performance appraisals What we're looking forAre you somebody who is passionate about delivering quality Home Care services to the local community? Do you excel at providing personalised assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhancing their quality of life within their chosen community?Our ideal candidateIs reliable, adaptable and has well developed communication skills – occasional early starts are required so this role will not suit school hours workersCurrently holds the below qualificationsCertificate III in Individual Support or higher (Certificate IV or Diploma preferred) Medication qualified - or willing to obtainCurrently holds a First Aid and CPR qualificationCurrently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police CheckMinimum of 2 years’ experience in direct support required A current driver's license and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role.
