Western Sydney | Onsite Parking | Hybrid Working Leading Heavy Manufacturing Organisation 6-month Fixed Term Contract (Potential for Extension/Permanency) About the Company and Role We are partnering with a leading heavy manufacturing organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and make an immediate impact. You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team and play a key role in group reporting, tax compliance, and financial analysis.This is a hands-on, group-level role suited to someone who can hit the ground running and confidently operate across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow Managing tax compliance (GST, BAS, FBT, payroll tax) Intercompany accounting including reconciliations and settlements Supporting group audit processes Performing variance analysis and assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles About You Proactive and detail-oriented Financial Accountant who thrives in complex environments and can quickly adapt to new systems and processes. 4–6 years’ experience in financial accounting Experience in a complex multi-entity or group environment, with a strong exposure to dealing with multiple revenue streams, intercompany transactions and reconciliations Solid understanding of tax (GST, BAS, FBT) Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (formulas etc.) Strong systems capability – able to navigate multiple ERPs confidently CPA/CA (completed or working towards) preferred Background in construction or project/WIP environments ideal What’s on Offer Opportunity to work in a large, multi-entity group Exposure to process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives 6-month contract with potential extension or permanency Collaborative and supportive finance team Hybrid working How to Apply: To apply, please click on the appropriate link below.
