THE ROLE Our kitchens are led by award-winning chefs, driven by seasonal menus, and held to a standard that genuinely excites the people working in them. We're building the kitchen brigade at our new Kent Town venue and we want cooks and chefs who take their craft seriously — whether you're a seasoned chef de partie ready to step up or a skilled cook who wants to grow within a kitchen that will push you. This is a casual role with real hours and real opportunity. If you're reliable, passionate about food, and hold yourself to a high standard on every service — we want to hear from you. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Executing dishes to recipe, portion, and presentation standard — consistently, every service. • Owning your section: mise en place, cleanliness, stock rotation, and quality control. • Working across pub dining, cafe, catering, and functions as the service demands. • Communicating clearly with the CDP and Sous Chef throughout service. • Supporting kitchen hands and contributing to a positive, professional kitchen culture. • Maintaining full HACCP, WHS, and food safety compliance on every shift. YOU ARE • A competent, reliable chef or cook with experience in a high-volume kitchen. • Someone who takes genuine pride in the food that leaves your section. • Holder of a Food Handler Certificate (mandatory). • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred (or currently completing). • Physically capable, calm under pressure, and a genuine team player. • Available for casual shifts across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
