Benefits $110,000 – $120,000 super car allowance (for an experienced insurance estimator) $90,000 – $100,000 super vehicle/vehicle allowance (for a qualified carpenter coming off the tools) Work close to home across Queensland, with claims allocated within Brisbane and surrounding Southeast Queensland suburbs wherever possible Approximately 4 claims per day, depending on size and complexity Opportunity to estimate residential claims up to $2 million Strong team environment with a mix of on road and office based work Positive, collaborative culture with regular team culture days, competitions, and in house activities Access to internal benefits, including partner discounts across retail, clothing, and lifestyle brands About You Carpentry background highly preferred Open to carpenters coming off the tools who are looking to transition into estimating If applying as a senior insurance estimator, prior experience in a similar insurance estimating role is required Strong understanding of building scopes, materials, and repair methodology Exposure to or experience with PRIME software (or similar estimating platforms) highly regarded Ability to manage workload efficiently and work autonomously while still being a strong team player Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site assessments of residential insurance claims Prepare accurate and detailed scope of works and cost estimates Manage an average of approximately 4 claims per day, depending on complexity Assess damage and determine appropriate repair methodologies in line with policy coverage Liaise with homeowners, builders, repairers, and internal claims teams Ensure estimates are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes Use estimating systems (e.g. PRIME or similar platforms) to prepare and submit reports Ensure compliance with company processes, building standards, and insurance requirements Identify variations, additional damage, or complexities and update scopes accordingly Maintain strong documentation and reporting standards for each claim Interested?
