Role: Graphic & CMF Designer Location: Sydney, AUS We are currently looking for a Product Graphic Designer that can blur the line between Graphic and CMF Design. You must be a self-starter with a drive to deliver innovative ideas and design solutions, with the ability to support the Product Developer through the full process — from design concept to production — including execution of packaging, user manuals, training material, and product webpages. As this role requires a wide range of design skills, we are looking for an individual who is open to learning and stretching outside their core competence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Trend Analysis: Staying informed about current trends in color, materials, and technology to anticipate future consumer preferences. Colour Selection: Choosing colour palettes that align with brand identity, user emotions, and cultural significance. Material Selection: Sourcing and selecting materials that meet functional requirements (such as durability and certification), aesthetic goals, and sustainability standards. Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and supply chain to ensure CMF choices are feasible and integrate well into the overall product development process. Sustainability Focus: Incorporating sustainable material choices, waste reduction, and energy efficiency into the design process. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? The Graphic & CMF Designer is responsible for trend research, colour, paint, and graphics across products. The role also includes packaging execution with a focus on sustainability. You will create designs for a wide range of products including: Scooters Skateboards Body Boards Helmets Backyard Games Darts Table Tennis Sporting Goods This role has flexible working arrangements, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) to remain engaged and connected with the team. Additional office attendance may occasionally be required. WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Bachelor’s degree in Graphic or Industrial Design 5 years’ experience within Graphics, CMF, and/or Product Design Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially: Illustrator Photoshop InDesign Experience in 3D design and rendering is a plus Experience using project management tools such as Asana or Monday.com is beneficial Strong collaboration skills within close-knit and intercultural teams Openness to feedback and design discussion Passion for current and emerging design trends and visual culture, particularly across graphics, colour, materials, and finishes Ability to work across multiple brands and projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present ideas to peers, managers, and executives
