Our client is a not-for-profit aged care organisation with multiple facilities located in and around Townsville & Charters Towers, North Queensland. They are committed to delivering high-quality care to the local community and surrounding districts. We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (Aged Care) to join their dedicated team across several locations. The Position: As a Registered Nurse, you will support the Facility Manager in the day-to-day administration and management of resident care. You will ensure the delivery of high-standard, holistic, and resident-focused care that meets all legislative and best practice guidelines. This is a hands-on clinical role, ideal for someone passionate about making a genuine impact in aged care. Key Responsibilities: Promote and coordinate the delivery of high-quality, holistic care to residents. Support administrative duties within your clinical scope. Maintain and develop professional skills through ongoing training and education. Respond appropriately to care issues, breakdowns and crises within your area of responsibility. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, professional standards, and organisational policies. Communicate effectively with residents, families, co-workers, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Participate actively in continuous quality improvement and accreditation processes. Contribute constructively to team and quality meetings. Skills & Experience Required: Essential: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as an RN. Availability to work a range of shifts, including night duty. Strong clinical competence and a hands-on approach to care. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A passion for providing quality care to older Australians. What’s on Offer: Competitive hourly rates depending on experience: $40 - $60.
