Job Description Position Title: APS5 ICT Contracts Administrator Employment Type: Labour hire contract (approx 12 months with potential to extend) Location: Canberra, ACT Hourly Pay Rate: Rates negotiable dependent on skills and experience Security Clearance/Requirements: Must hold minimum Negative Vetting 1 clearance at time of application ABOUT THE ROLE An Australian Government department is seeking up to two experienced ICT Contracts Administrators to support a busy team. This team manages a range of high-value and complex ICT contracts that support the department’s global operations, including critical telecommunications services that enable Australian Government agencies to communicate with international posts. In this role, you will provide contract administration and procurement support, ensuring contracts are managed effectively and in line with government policies and procurement frameworks. Working closely with procurement and contract management specialists, you will contribute to the smooth delivery of ICT contract management services across the department. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative support to ICT contract managers across contract management and procurement activities Assist with invoicing reviews, correspondence, reporting and records management Maintain electronic records and document management systems Create and maintain contract registers and tracking systems Monitor invoice approvals and payment processes Support central mailbox management and scheduling of meetings Record meeting minutes where required Assist with drafting procurement and contract documentation including tenders, panels and contracts Collate contract management data and provide basic analysis and reporting Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Demonstrated experience providing contract management support within Australian Government environments Knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and government procurement policy frameworks Experience supporting day-to-day contract management activities in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills Experience with electronic records management, registers and invoice tracking Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Desirable: Experience supporting ICT projects or capability delivery Advanced Microsoft Excel skills ELIGIBILITY Current AGSVA security clearance (minimum NV1) Ability to work onsite in Canberra Apply now or contact Angel Malkovich on 6260 8888 at SOS Recruitment for a confidential discussion.
