About the Opportunity We are partnering on a senior finance appointment within a privately-owned investment platform with a diverse portfolio spanning commercial property, hotels, operating businesses and alternative investments including private equity, private credit and listed equities. This is a broad, high-exposure role working closely with senior leadership and principals across the group, offering genuine involvement in both corporate reporting and investment structures. A key requirement for the role is strong trust accounting and tax accounting experience, particularly across complex trust structures and group environments. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly group management accounts and P&L analysis Month end processes including accruals, prepayments, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations Coordination of budgeting and forecasting across the group Trust accounting and tax compliance across complex structures Preparation of BAS, payroll tax and year-end reporting packs Cashflow and working capital management across multiple entities Liaising with external advisors including auditors, tax consultants and financiers Oversight of reporting systems and process improvements Mentoring junior finance team members About You CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) Strong background in trust accounting and tax accounting Experience working with complex group structures (property, family office or investment environment ideal) Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail Confident communicator who can work with senior stakeholders Hands-on, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-evolving environment Why This Role?
