About the Team: The Digital and Campus Services team plays a critical role in keeping the University safe, connected and operational, delivering technology ‑ enabled services that support students, staff and the wider community. Within this group, the Operations and Security Solutions team focuses on physical security, critical incident management and digital safety solutions, working closely with emergency services, cyber security and key stakeholders across the University. The team is collaborative, delivery ‑ focused and committed to continuous improvement, driving practical digital solutions that enhance safety, compliance and user experience. About the Role: As the Project Support Officer, you’ll support the delivery of key digital safety, security and incident management initiatives that underpin a safe and compliant University environment. Working closely with the Director, Operations and Security Solutions, you’ll coordinate project activities, support implementation planning and contribute to the delivery of system upgrades, process digitisation and technology ‑ enabled improvements. The role offers hands ‑ on exposure to meaningful projects, broad stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement across digital, security and operational services. Position Key Duties: Examples of some of the duties you will undertake: Coordinate and support the delivery of digital safety, security and incident management projects across the University. Assist with implementation planning, scheduling, tracking milestones and monitoring project progress. Support the rollout and enhancement of security and incident management systems, including safety apps and reporting platforms. Contribute to process digitisation initiatives to improve efficiency, compliance, auditability and user experience. Prepare and maintain project documentation, standard operating procedures and supporting materials. Engage with internal stakeholders, emergency services and digital suppliers to support project delivery and adoption. Assist with stakeholder communications, education and change activities related to new systems and processes. Support continuous improvement by identifying risks, issues and opportunities and providing practical recommendations.
