About the role The Regulatory Operations Officer role offers expertise on licencing within SafeWork NSW and is responsible for assessing applications from individuals and businesses operating within regulated industries. Ensuring decisions are made in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Our Regulatory Operations Officer’s provide accurate information, guidance and support to customers and stakeholders to promote compliance and ensure the integrity of regulatory outcomes. About You This role will manage and adapt with competing priorities and stakeholder expectations, including resolving complex or contentious matters. An ideal candidate will maintain professionalism and positive working relationships, knowledge of legislation, policies and regulatory requirements, and managing sensitive environments. To be successful for this role your will: Demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy Provide excellent stakeholder support, providing clear advice and ability to resolve complex enquiries Apply a high level of attention to detail and commitment to the accuracy and quality of advice provided Experience with SafeWork Licensing and systems such as AMANDA, WSMS, GLS, TRIM and SALESFORCE or similar systems is beneficial.
