Description Downer’s Energy & Utilities team is seeking an experienced Pipeline Patrol STO to play a hands-on role in protecting and maintaining licensed gas pipelines and easements. This is a field-based position where you’ll carry out daily patrols and inspections, assess asset condition, coordinate maintenance works, and ensure safety and compliance across critical gas infrastructure. You’ll also act as a key technical point of contact for the Pipeline Security team, supporting day-to-day problem solving, training and development, and stepping in to support the Scheduler or Supervisor during periods of leave. This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and being out on site making a real impact. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a safety-focused and highly experienced pipeline professional who brings strong technical knowledge and practical field capability.
