What You’ll Do Supervise children and pedestrians at children’s crossings and traffic lights during nominated hours on school days Wear the provided uniform and use the provided equipment to safely perform the duties of a School Crossing Supervisor Maintain a high level of awareness, professional behaviour and conduct at times Strictly adhere to relevant policies and procedures including the VicRoads Instructions for Children’s Crossing Supervisors and Banyule Employee Code of Conduct What You'll Bring - Skills, Experience This is the right role for you if you enjoy working outdoors, meeting new people, and working short hours. As a School Crossing Supervisor, You Will Need To Stand/walk For The Duration Of Your Shift Whilst Carrying The Crossing Equipment. You’ll Be Working In All Weathers (four Seasons In One Shift Is a Possibility) And It’s a Must That You Will Be Reliable And Punctual To Ensure That The Crossing Is Staffed, And That Safety Is Managed During School Times. You Will Also Have A good knowledge of the Victorian Road Rules and local area in Banyule A high level of awareness and an ability to judge traffic flow. Be able to work with children specifically and the wider public in general.
