Job Description YOUR ROLE As the Manager, Learning Management Systems (LMS), you will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of MACS’ system-wide professional learning platform, ensuring it is robust, user-friendly and aligned with organisational priorities. Working across both strategic and operational areas, you will oversee the governance, optimisation and day-to-day management of the LMS, enabling high-quality, accessible and engaging learning experiences for all staff while supporting broader talent development and capability uplift across the system. WHAT YOU WILL DO Manage the end-to-end operations of Learning and Leadership Development systems, particularly Canvas, including course enrolment, user accounts and administrative processes Lead, supervise and develop staff within the team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture Establish and maintain governance structures and support compliance across eLearning materials, systems and processes Provide guidance and support to schools and offices to ensure the successful implementation of dynamic eLearning and hybrid programs, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise LMS utilisation Provide strategic advice on innovative learning delivery, develop training schedules to enable course designers, and apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences ABOUT YOU Demonstrated instructional design expertise, including knowledge of adult learning theories, curriculum development, and the ability to transform complex content into engaging and effective learning modules Technical proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (Canvas), and eLearning standards (SCORM, xAPI), including multimedia and coding capabilities, supported by a portfolio of successful eLearning projects Proven experience supervising and developing staff, fostering a high-performing team culture, and providing coaching and support to enable team success Strong project management capability, including needs assessment, resource planning, timeline management, and data-driven evaluation of learning effectiveness Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, adapt to emerging technologies, and manage competing priorities effectively Extensive experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge and experience operating within an LMS environment (essential).
