Job description Communicating and ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations. Addressing food preparation concerns with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and wait staff. Preparing and cooking meals. Demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance on food preparation procedures. Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation. Recruit and train new staff May be responsible for freezing and preserving food items. Creating menus, estimating costs for food and labor, and placing food supply orders. Sound leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to be highly organized reliable and responsible Effectively work well under pressure Must be able to commit for the long term Have had previous experience in a similar role Qualification & Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy kitchen environment. Certificate IV or higher in commercial cooking. Strong expertise in the hospitality sector. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration. Passion for food and commitment to high-quality dishes. Well-presented and professional demeanor.
