We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Chef and Cook to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis and support the consistent delivery of our Mediterranean cuisine. Work location : 387 Mount Barker Rd., Bridgewater SA, 5155 Salary Range : 68000-78000AUD Position: Chef Key Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and update menus in line with customer preferences and seasonal availability Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with consistency in presentation and taste Supervise kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen staff during service periods Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards Monitor food stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory efficiently Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and cooks Maintain quality control of all dishes leaving the kitchen Contribute to cost control by minimizing food waste and optimizing ingredient use Position: Cook Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Support the Chef in daily kitchen operations and service requirements Ensure proper storage of food and kitchen supplies Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food quality and safety Assist with stock rotation and basic inventory tasks Requirements: Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support overall kitchen operations.
