Senior Case Manager – Homelessness Services (QLD) SCHADS Crisis L3.1 / Full‑Time | Permanent | Location: Redcliffe QLD Why this role matters The Salvation Army (Salvos) is one of the largest providers of homelessness services across the country. We provide services and support to adults, and families with accompanying children in the form of accommodation, case management, assertive outreach, financial assistance, community connection and referral services. The role: Step into a leadership role that drives real change. As our Senior Case Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our Supported Accommodation and Support Hub teams—guiding practice, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring people experiencing homelessness receive the highest standard of care. What You’ll Do You’ll be the Team Leader’s right hand—driving consistency, quality and impact across our homelessness services. Your leadership will shape frontline practice, lift team capability and make a tangible difference for people seeking safety, stability and a fresh start. Key Responsibilities Champion consistent, high‑quality service delivery aligned with national homelessness care standards. Support the Team Leader to roll out new processes, projects and partnerships across the region. Provide day‑to‑day supervision of Administration staff and oversee case notes and data quality. Lead practice development through case reviews, reflective discussions and problem‑solving with case managers. Deliver case management support when required, using TSA’s evidence‑based models and frameworks. Conduct comprehensive assessments of needs, risks and vulnerabilities from intake through to exit. Help individuals access services, build community connections and advocate on their behalf when needed. Monitor progress against case plans and adjust strategies to ensure goals remain achievable and relevant. Maintain accurate, timely records in line with TSA standards and systems. Identify risks to clients, staff or the organisation and escalate promptly. Spot service gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen outcomes. What You Bring Degree in social work, welfare, community development or a related field (preferred). Strong sector knowledge and frontline experience in homelessness or community services. QLD Working with Children Check. Current driver’s licence. First Aid Certificate.
