Plan, facilitate, implement & evaluate treatment and habilitation programs & interventions that aim to increase positive behaviours & work towards a transition back to the community. Support an evidenced based clinical environment, by: Ensuring interventions are consistent with evidenced based practice & are congruent with recommendations in the IDP. Assessing client risk, responsivity & needs & developing appropriate treatment adaptation. Establishing a therapeutic alliance with clients. Interacting with clients in ways that are respectful, culturally sensitive, encourage personal choice & protect rights & dignity. Effectively responding to & supporting clients to develop positive alternatives to engaging in offending behaviour Develop, administer & review: Client assessments including psychometric tools & forensic risk assessments. Individual development plans and rehabilitation/habilitation programs. Transition plans. Prepare assessment reports, individual plans, undertake administrative tasks & data collection & contribute to the development of submissions. Ensure safety of clients, staff & visitors, duress response duties & participate managing challenging/aggressive behaviour. It is vital to have the ability to be emotionally resilient in achieving objectives & coping effectively with challenges & incidents. Adhere to policies, procedures & operational practices that drive clinical governance & multidisciplinary practice, within legislative framework. Participate in identifying, developing, & implementing continuous improvement. Participate in individual time and performance and development agreements. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate a positive behaviour support response.
