We're partnering with a well‑established financial services organisation that's midway through a major transformation project , migrating from a legacy Loan Management System (LMS) to a new, modern platform. To support this critical initiative, they're looking to bring on a high‑calibre Financial Accountant to join the project team on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract . This is a project‑focused role , ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, systems, and transformation , rather than traditional month‑end reporting. The opportunity This role sits within a specialist project team responsible for delivering a large‑scale LMS migration across the business. Finance plays a key role in ensuring data integrity, accurate loan processing, and clean integration with downstream accounting systems, and this is where you'll add real value. You'll work alongside experienced subject‑matter experts and senior stakeholders, acting as a key link between finance, IT, and external software vendors . Importantly, this role is not BAU‑focused . Your time will be spent supporting the project, helping to design, test, validate, and embed the new system from a finance perspective. What you'll be doing Supporting the migration from a legacy Loan Management System to a new platform Working closely with IT teams and external vendors to configure and test the system Ensuring loan data (interest, balances, repayments, fees) is accurate and reconciles correctly Assisting with data migration, validation, and reconciliation between systems Helping document new processes and system workflows in clear, user‑friendly language Acting as a finance "translator", bridging business requirements with technical solutions What we're looking for Strong experience with Loan Management Systems (essential)Experience with platforms such as Solifi, SAP‑based LMS solutions, or similar is highly valued The ability to operate confidently in a project and change environment Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills, you'll be working with a wide stakeholder group Accounting experience or qualification is desirable but not essential if your systems experience is strong A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and the ability to work alongside a high‑performing team This is a role for someone who brings gravitas, structure, and practicality - someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves and helping a complex project succeed.
