About Us: We are a Sydney based home builder, building 4-8 homes a year. We engage in new build homes, predominantly building to sell. We also occasionally engage in decking repair works in Western Sydney Schools. We are seeking a reliable and responsible Carpenter to join our team. We are seeking a skilled carpenter with experience in: Studying drawings and specifications to determine necessary materials, dimensions, and installation procedures. Ordering and selecting timber and other materials and preparing project layouts. Cutting materials, assembling, and nailing cut and shaped parts. Erecting frameworks, panellised systems, and roof framing, as well as laying sub-flooring and floorboards, ensuring structural accuracy. Installing fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior wall cladding, and fitting doors and window frames. Assembling prepared wood structures and fittings for installation. Cutting wood joints. Additional skills: Experience with constructing concrete formwork. Ability to repair existing fittings.
