Your new role In this role, you will take the lead as the safety officer for the business, across commercial and multi-residential developments. This includes: Ensuring all safety documentation is up-to-date, including Safety Plans, Inductions, and Risk Registers Conducting toolbox talks, pre-starts, and inductions Undertaking safety inspections and audits to provide strategies for improved safety Building strong relationships with subcontractors and trades to foster a positive on-site environment Provide support and advice to the site management team What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have experience as a Safety Officer on commercial and/or multi-residential projects. You will also have:Certificate IV in Workplace Health and SafetySubstantial experience in the high rise and/or commercial construction sectorA complete understanding of current legislation, regulations & building codesStrong communication skillsThe ability to set up systems, policies, plans and processesSolid systems' knowledge (Buildsafe, Hammertech etc) What you'll get in return Work on a career-defining commercial project.Supportive leadership and collaborative team culture.Long-term pipeline of work across the Gold Coast.Competitive salary package: $160k-$200k super (dependent on experience).
