Safety Officer / HSE Advisor – Tier 1 / Tier 2 Projects Gold Coast, QLD Multi-Use Development (Residential Retail) We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Officer / HSE Advisor with strong Queensland project experience to join our team on a large-scale multi-use development on the Gold Coast. QLD-Specific Experience (Essential) Demonstrated experience working under Queensland WHS legislation and site requirements Strong understanding of WorkSafe Queensland regulations and compliance standards Proven experience on QLD-based Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction projects Familiarity with local authority requirements, site inspections, and reporting protocols Experience managing safety in live or staged environments (highly regarded) Key Responsibilities Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company systems Manage SWMS, permits, and subcontractor safety Lead toolbox talks and site safety briefings Monitor high-risk construction activities Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Qualifications & Requirements Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety Construction White Card First Aid & CPR ICAM (or similar) – desirable What’s on Offer Competitive salary package Landmark Gold Coast project Strong pipeline of future work Apply now or reach out for a confidential discussion.
