Due to business growth and increasing customer demand, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. Key Responsibilities Plan menus and contribute to the development of authentic North Indian dishes, ensuring quality and seasonal variety Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes including curries, tandoori items, Indian breads, and specialty meals Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all dishes Oversee kitchen operations including stock control, ordering supplies, and minimising wastage Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow Monitor food quality and presentation standards at all times Cater to customer dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, and allergen-specific meals Minimum Requirements (Selection Criteria) Minimum 3 years of full-time relevant experience as a Chef Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification Proven experience in Indian cuisine, particularly North Indian and tandoor cooking Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and stock management Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation Attributes Reliable and able to perform under pressure Passionate about Indian cuisine and culinary excellence Strong team player with good communication skills Committed to maintaining high standards of food quality Why Join Tadka Hut?
