Our vibrant atmosphere serves a loyal community of local residents and tradespeople. The Role: Reporting to the Head Chef, you will assist in crafting premium Mexican-inspired dishes. This role requires a dedication to food safety and impeccable kitchen hygiene. Clear, consistent communication with the culinary team is essential. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a range of dishes as per the menu and customer requirements Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of meals Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety standards Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times Work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff Skills and Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience as a Cook Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and hygiene practices Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment Strong organisational and time management skills Qualifications: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification Apply today and be a part of our team!
