Estimator Location: Geelong, VIC About the Role We are a proudly local, family-owned builder with over 40 years of experience delivering high-quality homes across Geelong, the Surf Coast and beyond. We specialise in both thoughtfully designed volume homes and highly customised builds, giving our clients flexibility and personalised service. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our collaborative Geelong-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio from streamlined production homes to complex, architecturally driven custom builds within a business known for craftsmanship, transparency and local expertise. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for both volume and custom residential projects Complete quantity take-offs, BOQs and tender documentation across varying project types Analyse architectural drawings, engineering details and specifications to determine project costs Collaborate closely with sales, drafting, construction and design teams to ensure seamless project delivery Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and maintain strong relationships Review and value-engineer projects to align with client budgets while maintaining quality outcomes Monitor cost trends, update pricing databases and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Support pre-construction planning to ensure efficient and cost-effective builds About You Proven experience in residential estimating (volume, custom or both) Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and residential building processes Ability to interpret plans, specifications and contracts with a high level of accuracy Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment Relevant qualifications in Building & Construction, Quantity Surveying or similar preferred Why Join Us Work with an experienced, supportive team in a respected local business Exposure to a wide range of builds from standard designs to bespoke custom homes Strong pipeline of work across the growing Geelong and Surf Coast regions Be part of a company known for quality craftsmanship, innovation and personalised service Opportunity to grow your career within a stable, long-standing organisation
