Climbing Arborist: The key reasonability of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective safe trimming or dismantling of trees through safe climbing techniques and safe work practices. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as: Performing safe and competent climbing techniques Clearing vegetation around/near powerlines Conducting risk assessments Establishing and implementing vegetation drop zones Operating an Elevated Work Platform Safely operating plant and chainsaw equipment Clearing vegetation debris from worksites Opportunity to be a lead climbing Arborist subject to experience Why choose Active? $40-50 per hour subject to experience superannuation Fortnightly RDO Daily Travel Allowances & Overtime available Access to a fully maintained company vehicle, where required Opportunities for paid living away work on select projects (LAHA) Existing electricity network authorisation (or equivalent) required Working days are Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour shifts from 7.00am – 4.00pm All PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and uniforms provided tools Climbing gear provided Ongoing training and development opportunities (Elevated Work Platform License, Chainsaw ticket, Chipper ticket, Traffic control and First aid) About you?
