Take the wheel of a fast-paced logistics operation as a Fleet Controller where you’ll play a key role in optimising resources and keeping freight moving efficiently. Lead drivers, coordinate schedules, and make a real impact by ensuring safe, compliant, and high-performing transport operations every day. Daily operational control of SCT Refrigeration Fleet, including company Rigid vehicles & sub- contractors. Daily scheduling and planning to ensure efficient PUD deliveries to customers. Controlling driver rosters. Monitoring and supporting activities of drivers to ensure company and customer standards are met. Recording daily activities. Reconciliation of subcontractor payments. Assisting with KPI recording. Preparing run sheets, manifests and consignments. HACCP Compliance Be available as required for weekend work. Conducting regular driver toolbox meetings. The ability to ensure OHS requirements are met. The ability to work to within Safety, Quality Systems and procedures. A sound knowledge of the transport industry regulations and OHS requirements including Chain of Responsibility & Load Restraint. SAP knowledge/experience would be advantageous. The ability to work unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation. Customer service focuses with excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of business Strong organisational skills with strong computer literacy. Willingness to “get the job done” without compromising service to customers. Good time management skills. Acute attention to detail. A proven ability to motivate and manage staff.
