Your New Role This is a 12‑month fixed term opportunity for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Member Group within Fund Services. Reporting to the Business Analysis Team Lead, you will play a critical role in solving complex business problems, identifying improvement opportunities and delivering high‑quality business analysis artefacts that enable successful delivery of digital, software and process change initiatives across the Fund. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and partners, contributing both independently and collaboratively to the design and delivery of innovative solutions that support AustralianSuper and our members. Key responsibilities include: Leading business analysis activities to support successful delivery of project objectives Understanding, documenting and improving current and future state business processes Eliciting, documenting, prioritising and validating high‑quality functional and non‑functional requirements and/or user stories Facilitating engaging workshops and ensuring clear outcomes and traceability Supporting business case development, vendor selection and RFP processes where required Identifying and managing dependencies, risks and issues Supporting change management and business integration activities Building strong relationships with stakeholders up to executive level and providing clear, effective communication Contributing to continuous improvement and capability uplift across the Business Analysis practice To be successful in this role, you will bring: Superannuation experience, essential 6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst 2 years’ experience working within business, digital or IT project environments Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies Strong capability in producing high‑quality requirements and/or user stories with excellent attention to detail Proven experience facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholder groups Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively Life at AustralianSuper AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
