We span across six showrooms in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, plus e-commerce in Australia, and we are looking to welcome a dedicated Supply and Distribution Manager to our team based at the warehouse. About the opportunity The purpose of this position is to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of goods produced or imported by Cult Design in Australia. Key Responsibilities include: • Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans • Preparing and implementing plan to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost • Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements • Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels • Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times • Leasing with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation • Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions • Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance About you The successful applicant will: • Ideally have qualifications in logistics/supply chain and/or project management • Have qualifications in logistics/supply chain and/or project management. Bachelors Degree or higher preferred • Have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or in the absence of a formal qualifications as listed above, 5 years of relevant experience • Have excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business • Have superior organisation and problem solving skills Summary of role requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred • 4-5years of relevant work experience required for this role (5 if no formal qualifications) • Working rights required for this role
