This is a Team Leader role with Queensland Government based in Brisbane, QLD, AU Queensland Government Role Seniority - mid level More about the Team Leader role at Queensland Government This position leads a small team responsible for developing legislative mechanisms, systems, policies and procedures and co-ordinating activities and uses carried out on land managed by QPWS to ensure sustainable outcomes. These activities and uses include grazing, trusteeships, offsets, electricity and communication services. This position will also contribute to negotiating with industry and other stakeholders to deliver these regulatory and operational approaches to estate management. High level knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire a high level of knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Nature Conservation Act 1992 and the Forestry Act 1959 as well as systems and practices relevant to the planning and management of protected areas and State forests.
